Frameless Glass Pool Fencing in Sydney

Glass Gates, unlike other types of Gates, have a very long product life expectancy.

They aren’t prone to paint/colour peeling or severe rust damage either, which ensures their usability and legality is maintained. Glass Gates are usually created to be 8mm in thickness, 4mm thinner than the 12mm Frameless Fence Glass and 2mm thinner than the Semi-Frameless Fence Glass. At Pacific Glass Pool fencing we recommend the use of 8mm thick Glass Gates to ensure the longevity and durability of the hinges and structure. The loss of weight helps to reduce slamming when the gate is closed and puts less stress on the hinges and latch. This is only a recommendation and is therefore entirely optional. If you wish to maintain the 12mm or 10mm Fence Glass throughout the entire structure for aesthetic reasons, then that is perfectly fine. We can install heavier duty hinges to accomodate the larger gate, which will therefore still perform and last the same as a standard system.
